I’m 50. And today I got accused, again, on multiple reels, of being an AI video. And here’s what I’m not going to do: pretend that’s a crazy thing to think. There are SO many fake AI videos right now of women “in their 50s” looking incredible. They’re everywhere, and they’re selling you things. If you’ve been burned by one, of course you’re side-eyeing me. So instead of getting defensive, I thought, you know what? You’re right. I should be showing up more. Talking to you more. So you know there’s a real person behind this, in her real house, with her real face. Because we all need to get more cognizant of what’s real and what’s not. The fakes are only getting better, and they’re aimed straight at women like us. I’ve spent 20 years telling women that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. That rule applies to me too.
