Edina residents are demanding answers after gunfire erupted at Yancey Park on July 22. Police say the shooting involved two groups and happened while more than 30 people were at the park, though no one was struck by the bullets. Investigators say they have collected evidence but are struggling to get witnesses to cooperate. At a community meeting, residents shared concerns about safety while others warned against unfairly blaming Edina’s broader Somali community. #Edina #YanceyPark #MinnesotaNews #CrimeAndPublicSafety #TwinCities
