A Phoenix man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty in two separate cases involving disturbing crimes against children. The Arizona Attorney General’s Office says 38-year-old Luis Alberto Ortiz pleaded guilty to charges connected to incidents in 2023 and 2025. Authorities have not released additional details about what occurred. After serving his prison sentence, Ortiz will remain on lifetime supervised probation, be required to register as an offender for life, face restrictions on his computer use and submit to DNA testing.
