A north Phoenix man is facing multiple felony charges after investigators say he began a relationship with a 15-year-old girl and kept her with him for about a year. Court records show 26-year-old David Jorge Ruvalcaba was arrested on July 30 and is charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault, strangulation, conduct with a minor and resisting arrest. According to investigators, the case began after a 17-year-old girl arrived at a Phoenix hospital, where a forensic exam documented more than 50 injuries. Detectives say the relationship began when she was 15 years old and in the 10th grade.
