Today, our team spent the day at the Disaster Assistance Center, meeting people whose lives have been turned upside down by the Spokane fires.
We handed out pet food and supplies, provided free microchipping, shared information about our Veterinary Medical Assistance Program (VMAP), complimentary cremation services through our partnership with West Coast Pet Memorial for pets lost in the fires, and talked through the resources and support available to each family's unique situation. Sometimes that meant answering questions. Sometimes it simply meant listening.
Most of all, we hope our team can simply be there for you. If we can bring a little light to an incredibly difficult day, or even a smile, then we're grateful for the opportunity. We want to hear about your animals. Tell us their names. Show us their photos. Celebrate the happy memories, share the hard ones, or just take a moment to talk. We're here for all of it.
