Texas A&M-Kingsville claims record seventh LSC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Cup. 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 #LSCsaac d2saac 📰 The LSC SAAC Cup, which was first presented in 2009, is awarded to the SAAC program with the most points at the end of the school year. Points are determined by a criteria involving community service projects, Make-A-Wish participation, fundraising for the community, involvement in LSC organized SAAC events and NCAA organized events. During the 2025-26 academic year, TAMUK’s SAAC group totaled a record 29,964 points. The Javelinas broke the mark of 27,015 set by Texas A&M-Commerce in 2017-18. St. Mary’s was the 2026 runner-up with 10,555 points, followed by West Texas A&M (9,550 points). Overall, the LSC’s 18 SAAC groups combined to set a record of 107,112 points, breaking the mark of 96,054 set in 2016-17.
