How to Make a Custom Leather patch WITH LASERS
#leathercraft #diy #handmade
In this video, I’m breaking down the entire process of handcrafting a custom leather patch for the back of my pgytechglobal backpack. Whether you are into leather crafting, DIY everyday carry (EDC) gear, or high-end filmmaking gear, there is something in this project for you!
We start the build by prepping some classic veg-tan leather sourced from Michaels. To get the perfect, precise outline and design, I’m utilizing the power of the xTool P2 55W CO2 Laser Cutter. After the laser engraving and cutting process, I added a durable Velcro backing to make it fully interchangeable.
Equipment & Camera Setup: To capture the satisfying texture of the leather and the intensity of the CO2 laser, I shot this video using a cinema-grade setup.
* Camera: reddigitalcinema V-Raptor (RF Mount) – Owned by nikonusa
* Lenses: canonusa RF Glass for incredible sharpness and depth of field.
