There are a lot of opinions out there about introducing a cup... so let’s bust a few myths. 👇
❌ Myth
#1: You should wait until you’re done breastfeeding.
✅ Truth: We actually recommend introducing a cup around 6 months, once your baby is sitting well and starting solids. Breastfeeding (or bottle feeding) continues. You’re simply introducing a new skill.

#2: Your baby needs to actually drink from the cup.
✅ Truth: Nope. Early on, it’s all about exposure, not hydration. At this age, your baby is getting the nutrition and hydration they need from breast milk, formula, or both. Offer a small amount of water with meals and let them explore.

#3: If they’re chewing on it, throwing it, or spilling it, they’re doing it wrong.
✅ Truth: That’s exactly how babies learn. Playing with the cup is part of the learning process.
