On June 6th, 2023, the French contacted me and told me my short film, “A Mighty Endeavor,” had been chosen for the 2023 “Beyond the Curve” Paris Festival. It is near and dear to my heart that my French brothers and sisters contacted me on the anniversary of D-Day, especially given the content of my film. I was nominated for a BTCFF Excellence Award, Best Director, Best Music Video, Best Experimental Film, Best Original Score, and Best Cinematography. My film took the prize for Best Cinematography, which I am very grateful for, as the visual elements of this film were a steep hill to climb.
