Yesterday I received my plaque for winning “Best New Media” at the 2022 Scotland International Festival of Cinema for my short World War 2 film, “A Mighty Endeavor.” I am still overwhelmingly grateful for the experience, and often can’t believe it happened just as it did. I also ordered a identical plaque for my lead co-producer and actor Josh Murray, who I am indebted to for helping to make the film happen. Whenever Josh and I are able to connect in our simultaneously insanely busy lives, I will present him with this plaque along with an actual vial of sand from Omaha Beach.
