I can’t believe it! My short World War 2 film, “A Mighty Endeavor” has won the top prize in its category a second time at the 1st Scotland International Festival of Cinema. The festival was a whirlwind, and Mhairi Calvey and Angus MacFadyen could not have been sweeter or kinder hosts- and they displayed immense love for and belief in independent filmmakers throughout, including Angus fiery opening speech to the award ceremony! Thank you so much to the judges and the festival runners for creating a first year that is going to be one of the most important cinema festivals around the world.
