What does it take to make Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu history? 🇬🇺🥋 Meet ry.jitsu Ryu the first Jiu-Jiteiro from Guam to complete the IBJJF Kids Grand Slam. 🥇 European Kids Champion 🥇 Brasileiro Kids Champion 🥇 Pan Kids Champion But Ryu’s story is bigger than medals. Before the golds came the silver. Then the bronze. Then he came back again and again until he accomplished something no Jiu-Jiteiro from Guam had done before him. That’s what makes his journey special to me. Before moving back to Hawaiʻi, Ryu trained at Inevat under the same professors who now stand in my corner. I finally got to meet him at Pan Kids this year after he had already been such a huge supporter of my journey.
