The intersection of State Route 48 and U.S. 42 looks like an ordinary suburban Ohio intersection: some trees, a Kroger, a Goodwill and a car wash. But on a busy summer afternoon in 2024, it became the scene of Lebanon's only fatal shooting that year, when Andrew Rainey was shot during a confrontation with another driver.
