Florida A&M University has acquired the historic Brickler property, nearly an acre directly across from campus where generations of pioneering Black physicians cared for Tallahassee families. 🐍🧡💚 Once home to the medical practice of Dr. Russell L. Anderson and Dr. Alexander D. “A.D.” Brickler, the property will now help advance FAMU’s growing Health Sciences Enterprise through education, research, experiential learning and community engagement. From a cornerstone of Tallahassee’s Black medical community to a future hub for improving health outcomes, this is more than an acquisition.
