Building safer communities requires collaboration. The FAMU Police Department hosted a Safety Summit bringing together neighboring law enforcement agencies, first responders, University and faith-based leadership, to strengthen partnerships and advance a shared approach to public safety. The summit provided an opportunity for community partners to connect, exchange perspectives and build relationships that support coordinated policing and safety efforts across FAMU and the surrounding areas touched by the University’s growing footprint.
