Meet Himalay āœˆļø "Growing up, whether it was watching Air Crash Investigation, WW2 dogfights, or even Top Gun, I somehow always believed aviation was my calling. It was in 6th grade that I decided I wanted to become a pilot. Growing up in India with no connection to aviation in any shape or form, I had no idea how to pursue what felt like a silly dream, but I had faith that somehow things would work out. Looking back, I'm glad I trusted that feeling. Teaching is considered one of the highest forms of service in my culture, so instructing was something I genuinely looked forward to. I get to meet people from all kinds of backgrounds, and I enjoy figuring out how each student learns best. One of my favorite students had a really hard time learning how to land. There were moments when he wanted to give up, but he trusted me when I told him he'd get it one day as long as he didn't quit. Today, he has his PPL and regularly rents airplanes from P6. Watching him fly on his own sometimes feels...
