The Cannon Ballers are making an impact that goes far beyond the scoreboard. Through our Score to Give More partnership with foodlion Feeds, every run scored at Atrium Health Ballpark helps provide meals for neighbors across our community. During the month of July, the Cannon Ballers crossed home plate 36 times, resulting in 3,600 meals to support local families facing food insecurity. Matthew Boughton, Jaden Fauske and Billy Carlson helped lead the way, each scoring 6 runs at home and accounting for 800 meals apiece. With April, May, June and July combined, Cannon Ballers baseball has already helped generate 22,200 meals this season. What happens between the lines matters.
