Justice K.J. Wall recently sat down with Anna Kaminski of the Kansas Reflector to discuss the Rural Justice Initiative Committee and its efforts to overcome an attorney shortage in rural Kansas. Justice Wall discussed the permanent Rural Justice Initiative Committee created by the Supreme Court, which will implement recommendations made in the Rural Justice Initiative Final Report. The committee will also monitor the effectiveness of those efforts and identify ways to improve access to legal services in rural Kansas.
