This afternoon, in a small ceremony in his chambers, Justice Eric Rosen affirmed his oath of office as chief justice of the Kansas Supreme Court. He was joined by his wife, Libby, and Justice Dan Biles, who administered the oath. Chief Justice Rosen will repeat his oath in a courtroom ceremony at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 8, which will be livestreamed over the court's YouTube channel.
