Ottawa Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect accused of robbing a bank in the 500 block of Montreal Road on August 4. Police say the man entered the bank around 11:20 a.m., approached a teller, demanded cash and then fled with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is described as a white man around 40 years old with a tanned complexion, grey hair, a light-coloured beard and a pointed nose. At the time, he was reportedly wearing black sunglasses, a black Ottawa Redblacks hat with a red brim, a light green-blue T-shirt, a jacket and black jeans.
