One of the bigger storylines during fall camp has been the emergence of true freshman wide receiver Jasen Lopez.
The former four-star prospect was a superstar at Chaminade-Madonna Prep, and had over 1,000+ yards in every season from his 9th grade to 12th grade years.
Not to mention that he is a dual-sport athlete with hopes of also assisting head basketball coach Luke Loucks be successful on the hardwood. Lopez has consistently been a playmaker that has been making highlight after highlight in fall camp.
Florida State has plenty of talent at the wide receiver position with Duce Robinson returning to the Seminoles for his senior year, and speedster Micahi Danzy comes back with hopes of improving as a pass catcher.
One wildcard in this whole situation has been sophomore Jayvan Boggs, who Duce Robinson referred to as “an NFL receiver” before the 2025 season started. That is high praise for someone as talented as Robinson.
