UPDATE: Florida State football will be conducting its second fall camp scrimmage today (Sunday, August 9th). The Seminoles are trying to turn the narrative around in a positive manner after finishing with a 7-17 record in the past two seasons. Here are a couple of things that I will be monitoring for when head coach Mike Norvell speaks to the media after the scrimmage: 1. How will quarterback Ashton Daniels perform in the scrimmage? -The quarterback position will be vital to the Seminoles’ success this year. Former Stanford and Auburn transfer Ashton Daniels has continued to make the right decisions, but can he consistently stack the good days together? 2. Is Jasen Lopez “the real deal”? -True freshmen are difficult to judge, but as we saw with Mandrell Desir last year, some kids just have the “IT factor”.
