Student-Athlete Spotlight: @uoftbaseball pitcher Matthew Baici knew he wanted to study chemistry at @uoft and decided to focus on practical chemical analysis and green chemistry. His enjoyment of community and learning from others has extended beyond the diamond, serving as the academic coordinator for the Chemistry Student Union where Matthew assists in mentorship opportunities for chemistry students and mentoring other varsity athletes. Earning OUA all-academic honours twice and two OUA championship seasons for the Varsity Blues, he makes the most of every opportunity.
