Happy Birthday to the one and only Snoopy! 🥳🎂🎉 Snoopy has a special place in our heart, here at Canine Companions.❤️ Charles Schulz, the creator of Peanuts and #Snoopy, and his wife, Jean, became our supporter and started to become involved in your mission in the 1980s - when our presence was still small, but our hearts were full of compassion. 🐕‍🦺 Charles, or lovingly known as "Sparky," was an incredible supporter, so much so that Jean also became active and still is to this day. Not only was our Northwest Region campus in Santa Rosa, California, named after them; Jean is still actively involved, including as an executive producer of our animated short film, "Andy: A Dog's Tale." For our 50th anniversary last year, Snoopy helped us transport our future #servicedog puppies by flying on a goodyearblimp!
