Family Traditions are so important to us, one of our absolute must-do traditions involves a beach day at our favorite coastal town, Santa Cruz, Ca. It’s where I went to College and where my husband and I went on our first date! We hopped into the Ford Explorer® SUV and headed to our first stop, Aldos Restaurant at the Yacht Harbor. A local gem Aldos has been there for over 50 years. It not only boasts the best food in town but talk about the views. Our favorite dishes are Calamari, Mussels in White Wine, and Cioppino! Yum! With full tummies, we take a short five-minute walk to the beach. Here we relax and take in the sights and sounds while the boys play. After they are all done playing we then head to the tide pools and a nice stroll next to the cliffs. On this trip, we even saw a whale, less than 100 yards offshore!!!! It was MAGICAL!!!!!
