✔️ Lawsuit filed. Last week a 12-week abortion ban that was tacked onto restrictions on gender-affirming care for minors became law. This ban places an unacceptable burden on patients’ ability to access essential care, especially those who already face systemic inequities. Every day this abortion ban remains in effect is another day that Nebraskans are denied power and control over their own bodies and futures and that is unacceptable. Today acluofne filed a lawsuit on behalf of Planned Parenthood of the Heartland and Planned Parenthood North Central States Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sarah Traxler.
