Lamborghini just sent the new Revuelto SV around Hockenheim in 1:41.6 with factory driver Marco Mapelli behind the wheel. The still-camouflaged SV is Lamborghini’s hardcore evolution of the Revuelto, with substantially more aggressive aero including a huge rear wing, revised front bodywork, enlarged diffuser and additional aerodynamic elements. That 1:41.6 is a massive 5.7 seconds quicker than the 1:47.3 recorded by the Aventador SVJ at the same circuit in 2019. Underneath, the Revuelto’s naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 hybrid architecture remains the foundation, although Lamborghini is keeping the SV’s final power, weight and performance specifications under wraps for now. Mapelli says the car has reached a level of performance Lamborghini has never experienced before, suggesting the SV upgrades go far beyond simply adding horsepower.
