A brown business suit? Not that crazy. Mohair is crisp wirh a bit of sheen, distinguishing it from the tweeds and woolen flannels that you might expect on a countryside suit. Paired here with a beige shirt, grenadine tie, and brown ankle boots, we see a very solid look for the character at the time. Pretty conservative with some personal flair. I think Connery is one of the best actors to ever play the role of James Bond. I don't think he's the best dressed, but that might be my personal bias against the slimmer cut. The sleeve taper is a little aggressive (and is it just me, or are the shirt and jacket sleeves shorter than they could be?) But it's still a perfectly valid fit with interesting choices. Hope you got something out of this. Thank you, of course, to bondsuits for his help with this analysis and the images. #fittheyorfontthey
