Can you step down without your knee caving in? Try the self-test right now, slow, off a low step. ㅤ If the knee drifts inward, that's often weak hip control, not a structural problem. ㅤ 1. Test it → step down slow, watch the knee track 2. Drifts in? → that's usually your gluteus medius (side of the hip) not doing its job 3. Its job → stop the knee from collapsing inward when you load one leg 4. The fix → banded lateral walks, tension held the whole way, no relaxing between steps ㅤ Your stiffness is a compensation problem, and compensation can be retrained. Stronger control here and that step-down stops feeling alarming. ㅤ Follow me, then comment "BASICS" and I'll DM you my Mobility Basics program 👇 ㅤ #Elastaboy #Reboryn #KneePain #HipMobility #GluteMedius
