Introducing Train Jazz. We worked with j.o.sh.ua to develop and design a live experience from Away and Amtrak, turning every active train in the country into a musical note. Each train’s place along its route becomes a note’s place in song. Long Distance trains hold long bass tones for the hours they spend between stops. Acela darts in and out of the Northeast Corridor as a fast solo line. Tight clusters of trains sustain a chord; the gaps between them are real silence.
