𝗞𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲. ❤️ I wasn’t there with him, but he still wanted to FaceTime me, do his push-ups and have me count his reps. That meant more to me than the push-ups themselves. He wanted to show me what he could do. And somewhere along the way, something we’ve been doing together became something he wanted to do on his own. 💪 That’s the part of being a dad I think about. You can tell your kids a thousand things, but they’re going to remember what they watched you do and the things you took the time to do with them. I’m not expecting him to grow up and be exactly like me. I just want to give him good habits, discipline, confidence and a standard for himself that he can carry into his own life.
