Months after Reece Weaver confirmed her retirement from the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders following three seasons, she's making her way to Broadway for a limited run in Chicago. The America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders star announced Aug. 11 that she will make her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in the long-running musical Chicago. Weaver, 24, whose journey with the DCC was featured on the hit Netflix series, will begin her six-week limited engagement Sept. 7 and perform through Oct. 18. The role marks a full-circle moment for Weaver, who told E! News in June that performing on Broadway had always been one of her biggest dreams—and even named Roxie Hart as a character she hoped to play one day. “That’s always been my dream,” she shared at the time. “Roxie would be fun.
