Damson Idris (born 2 September 1991) is a British actor of Nigerian descent who grew up in Peckham, South East London. The youngest of six children raised by his mother, he initially aimed for a career in professional sports before discovering his passion for performing arts. He went on to study Theatre, Film & Television Studies at Brunel University London and trained at the Identity School of Acting, eventually landing his breakout, critically acclaimed role as the ambitious drug kingpin Franklin Saint in the FX crime drama series Snowfall.
