Congratulations to James Washington on being inducted into the California High School Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026! A standout at Jordan High School in Los Angeles, Washington went on to become a four-year starter at UCLA, where he helped lead the Bruins to multiple bowl victories and established himself as one of the program’s top defensive backs. After being drafted by the Los Angeles Rams, he continued his NFL career with the Dallas Cowboys, where he won back-to-back Super Bowl championships (XXVII & XXVIII) and returned a fumble 46 yards for a touchdown in Super Bowl XXVIII. Today, James Washington serves as President of the Rose Bowl Institute, championing programs that inspire leadership, education, and opportunity for youth while continuing his lifelong commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
