So far I’ve only seen one potential tornado in Columbus. And it still hasn’t been reported in official channels. The dispatch reported it but the NWS hasn’t publicly commented on it yet and they haven’t reported it to the Severe Weather Prediction Center. If it was a tornado it was likely very small. Small tornados can still do damage but they can frequently slip ‘under the radar’ which is why it’s important to be aware of your surroundings during a severe thunderstorm warning. There was not a tornado waring issued for Dublin when the tornado happened but they were under a severe thunderstorm warning. Outside of Columbus there have been numerous other possible tornadoes. We’ll see what the NWS says after they have had time to survey the damage in Dublin. And if they missed this one, I don’t fault them for it, this storm was crazy and evolved super fast. #severeweather #storms #ohio #indiana #illinois
