One in five Gen Z workers say a parent has joined them during a job interview, according to a Zety survey of 1,001 U.S. Gen Z workers conducted in January 2026. The study found that 15% had a parent attend in person, while another 5% said they joined virtually. Parental involvement also extends beyond the interview, with 44% saying their parents have helped write or edit their resumes and 21% saying a parent has contacted a potential employer or recruiter on their behalf. #career #genz #money #study #jobinterview
