Indigenous Peoples protect most of the planet’s biodiversity. Yet they are too often excluded from decisions and funding that affect their lands — and face increasing threats from environmental degradation. The traditional knowledge of Indigenous Peoples is essential to protecting ecosystems and tackling the climate crisis.
