As we head into late summer, some of our beloved birds are making their long journeys back to Africa to spend the winter.   From Swift chicks doing ‘press ups’ to build wing muscles, to Sedge Warblers doubling their weight by gorging on berries, these species have spent the last few months preparing for the long journey.   Migration isn’t always the easiest though. And with climate change putting immense pressure on natural resources and flyways for our species, this may be the toughest one yet.   But with your support, we will continue fighting for these birds so that when they return to our shores in spring, the next generation has the best start in life 💚   #birdmigration #rspb #savenature
