This move didn’t start in my backyard. When I was getting started, a skater I looked up to took the time to teach it to me. That’s one of the things I love most about skate culture. Somebody teaches you, you keep it alive, and eventually you pass it down. Get out and go to skating events. Skate with people outside your usual circle. Ask questions. Pay attention.
