Last week, we opened the Adam R. Scripps Street Soccer Park at Horace Mann Middle School in City Heights, the first Street Soccer USA park in San Diego.
These parks are designed to create consistency and access. But more importantly, they belong to the communities that activate them every day. What you see in this recap, youth taking the field, leaders showing up, neighbors celebrating, is the beginning of a space rooted in community leadership and daily use.
As part of our 26 for 2026 campaign, San Diego now joins a growing network of cities focused on permanence, ensuring this work endures long after the tournament ends.
