Bringing our Joffrey West Summer Intensive to a memorable close, "Lumina" celebrated the artistry, versatility, and dedication our dancers cultivated throughout the summer. Under the artistic direction of Josie Walsh ballet_red, the culminating performance featured original works by Renee Baldwin, Douglas Baum, Brian Drake, Myles Lavallee, and Joey Vice, showcasing the remarkable growth our dancers achieved throughout this immersive training experience in Los Angeles, California. Blending the artistry of concert dance with the energy and innovation of commercial movement, each work reflected the technical excellence, adaptability, and creative spirit that define the Joffrey Ballet School experience.
