I’ve been blessed with rare opportunity to slow down every morning while my lil one in camp. Every day I try to find a new spot to relax; a bench, the grass, this time a lil pier. As I type this another black man pauses from his run to sit by water, I’m sure making sense of his own ish in life. I’m probably in his spot today. Typically I don’t record but “tried something new” today. And as I open IG, the audio from drglwhite / theblackmancan is the first thing I see. Pretty fitting. Alignment. I always loved the water, not really this East River but being by water today brings back memories of just sitting by Lake Washington as a child just passing time..
