We are SAFE in Iceland 🙌 Story time ⬇️ After traveling through a hurricane and experiencing delays due to wind, the Ultimate World Cruise finally made it to Iceland for our overnight here. Well... this overnight became quite eventful 😱 At about 9pm, we got word that the VOLCANO WAS ERUPTING 🌋 Our friends @aa.kenney and @little_rat_brain were evacuated from the Blue Lagoon instantly. Very scary! So glad they are safe! We were out and about in our rental car and decided to switch our plans of waterfall chasing for volcano chasing 😬 i know... we are crazy.. but @daniele.arbisi, @nachanael, my husband, and I took a vote on it! Earlier in the day, we had already become familiar with the road closures around Grindavik (the town that had already been evacuated last Sec/Jan due to ongoing volcanic activity).
