A follow up to my last post because this campsite was so epic!!! This was Hang En ("bird cave") and while it can easily get overshadowed by Son Doong (the worlds largest cave), it's still the THIRD largest cave in the world! 😱 It's also the first campsite on the way to Son Doong Cave. After a long trek through the hot jungle, this cave welcomes you with cooler air. Plus as you can see in the pics, there is a lake to cool off in. The lake has warm water from the spring and cold water from the river flowing at the same time! And a natural fish spa 😅 We saw monkeys, hundreds of swifts that sang to us throughout the night, and even saved a baby bird here!
