With the itinerary changes to avoid the Middle East and our vote onboard to do the immersive Africa segment, it became a requirement for [most] passengers and crew to get their yellow fever vaccine. Stops in African countries, like Ghana, Angola, and Senegal, require this. Fortunately, it was covered and provided right here on the ship in the medical bay during this sea day. I've gotten lots of questions about vaccines along the way. But believe it or not, this has been the only required vaccine to sail around the world (speaking for my husband and me who are in our 30s and generally of good health).
