The next hike on our 5 straight days of training was a long one, so it deserves two parts!✌️ AND it is now my new favorite hike on Oahu!!! 📍 Kea'au Middle Ridge Located on the west side of Oahu, this is the ultimate ridge hike. (A ridge hike involves trekking on the ridge of a mountain with drop-offs to the left and the right.) 😱 Only 6 miles, but with an elevation gain of 2,693 ft... it took us over 7 hours to complete 😬 The AllTrails description warns of hitting a wall that looks impassable, but trust me, it's passable 😅 Plenty of ropes there to help you along the way!
