When I heard this audio for
#reels, I thought too funny not to post this story:
I faced some major anxiety when we decided to climb higher beyond Subway Cave in Sedona. (See my last post - I called it "Subway Cave PLUS!")
This laugh you see is part laugh/part cry when I decided to stop while Kristian kept going to the top 😂 (Maybe if I'm feeling real vulnerable one day, I'll share the video of my freak out mid-bouldering 🤪)
This is not the first time this has happened, and when it does, I give myself two options and ask myself the following questions:
➡️ Keep going - Is this me pushing past my comfort zone? Am I going to regret not going to the top? Am I safe?
➡️ Stay - Am I content with missing out on the top? And am I PROUD of what I've accomplished so far?
This time I was content and proud, so I chose to Stay.
Can anyone else relate? 🤷♀️
