Highlights from our first time boondocking! 🤗 We camped at Lake Pleasant, Arizona, not too far outside of Phoenix. [📍 Save for later - This site is on Google Maps as “Great BLM Staging Area and Camping.” ] To get to this site, it’s a 4 mile drive on a very bumpy, unpaved road. 📢 So be warned! 😬 We took it sloooow and steady. This is where the 3 axles on our @keystonervcompany Raptor come in handy! We were pleased to find that it was quite remote in mid-May. We were the only campers out there for days. The only time we saw other campers was on the weekend. We saw so much wildlife! - Donkeys, coyotes, pigs, jackrabbits, cows, lizards… oh my! There are also so many off-roading trails. We played everyday on our Yamaha RMax Sport, usually ending the day driving to the lake to swim and cool down.
