Day 12 of Seahawks training camp, and another chance to make a frame (or, in this case frames) for my visual journal of camp. The impetus behind the project is I needed to get better - see better, see more, have a wider vision, and work on the skills I’ll need to be better this upcoming season than last. The Seahawks held practice at Lumen Field for their annual Football Fest, and being back in the stadium felt more “game-like”. True, the first preseason game is only a week away but getting some reps in specific situations is always helpful. One of the skill areas I wanted to work on was in the “red zone” (the area closest to the goal line). Often, this requires having quick reactions because the action is so much closer to me than a play at midfield. Also, switching lenses from a Nikon 400mm f/2.8 S lens to a 70-200mm or 24-120mm zoom is a skill that for me takes practice. Lots of it.
