Crazy that we’re already to the 11th day of Seahawks training camp, and the 11th entry into my visual journal of camp. After feeling my work needed a spark, I decided to post a photo for every day of camp, which means that I have to push my vision to find something different every day. Easier said than done, as I’m finding out. At the end of each practice, head coach Mike Macdonald chooses a player to “bring the team up” (have them make a big huddle), then “break it down” usually with brief chant at the end of a count to three (think, “1,2,3, SEAHAWKS!!!” etc) Today, offensive lineman Abraham Lucas was asked to bring them up. I was shooting the head coach giving some brief thoughts at the end practice to the players assembled around him, and then they huddle and break it down. As the players come together to raise their hands together, I’m usually caught in the middle of this mass of large humans.
